Classroom Stix
- Keep a set of Stix in each classroom so children can access them when needed. If a teacher notices a child becoming disregulated, they can suggest taking a break to practice a Stix activity outside the classroom.
1-on-1 with a TA
- Use Stix for individual support by sharing one remote each or having a TA guide a child through activities to help them self-regulate.
Small groups
- Encourage teamwork and peer support by practicing Stix activities in small groups, promoting shared mindfulness experiences.
Sensory Circuits
- Integrate Stix into sensory circuits to provide a structured, engaging tool for emotional regulation and movement-based mindfulness.
